Sekai Kuvarika

Sekai Kuvarika is a Business Associations / Chambers and business advocacy expert with over ten years experience in business environment reform, Economic development and Private sector development projects. She is currently working as a Chief Executive Officer for the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries with the mandate to lead and deliver transformative institutional change in the areas of policy research and analysis, membership structure review, governance review, business regulatory environment analysis, developing new services and developing an industrialisation agenda for the sub sectors and industry in general.

CZI provide regulatory compliance accompaniment to companies investing or operating in the industrial sectors. Through our knowledge and networks in the regional and national regulatory terrain, we are able to assist business to steer through to see and realise the opportunities for growth.

With 16 sectors and 26 economic sub sectors within our membership, we convene and provide value chain platforms for business and policy interactions. This helps in coordinated private sector policy and business interactions for private sector led growth.

We provide members with various other business facing services and high value networking opportunities. This, we are able to do through our information business exchange programmes and networking platforms.

We are proactive in identifying as well as responding to business specific training needs that help improve viability and growth of our members. In partnership with technical service providers, CZI conducts Lean Management Training Courses for Industry.

We are at the forefront of influencing a competitive business climate through the collective experience and knowledge of our members and cutting edge policy analysis and proposals that make for private sector led economic development.

With a wide network of stakeholder institutions in and outside government where CZI has official representation, we play an intermediary role between business and government and between business and other institutions that enable business.

CZI assist members to strategically navigate the macro, micro, regional and continental business environments, which are continuously shifting. Such analysis helps our members to stay abreast and be competitive.
